July 2007 Archives

One of the first pea blossoms in my garden. Following are a series of shots from the garden as it stands mid-July. I'm pretty happy with how things have turned out so far. There are even some little tomatoes globing up on the vines.

Venturing out on the fourwheeler pretty much any trail will lead you to a riverbank. We have visited the Procupine River just below the mouth of the Sucker River a few times. There's a little back eddy, and lots of skipping rocks for Keith to skim across the calm water. We have our sights set on the far sand bar for a weekend camping trip.

Prehistoric dragonflies are starting to make a real dent on the mosquito population around our cabin. This one had something like a three inch...or was it four feet...wingspan.
